Have You Ever Wondered About Our Logo?

The story behind our logo is simpler than you might think! When I first set out to design our packaging and branding, I drew inspiration from none other than KFC. Yes, the fast-food chain known for fried chicken! I've always been fascinated by the brilliance of fast-food advertising, and Colonel Sanders' iconic black-and-white profile with his goatee and signature southern bolo tie stood out to me. His image sparked an idea: why not create a logo using my own face?

As a soap maker, there are a few essential items I always wear while working. First, a lab coat to protect my clothes from the slippery oils, then a newsboy hat to get me in the right headspace for making soap. And of course, I don’t forget the steampunk goggles—perfect for safety when working with lye and preventing any accidental splashes.

And yes, I wear this "uniform" every single time I make soap! It turned out to be the ideal image for our soap boxes, too.
