Why We’re Different

The other day I was browsing a gift shop and it struck me how impractical most other hand made soaps are. I never wanted to make the type of soap that looks more like a bouquet of flowers than a personal hygiene tool. SOAP BY SELLERS is not a gimmick maker, and never will it be. We pride ourselves on producing soap that you can actually use every day.

If you think about it, fancy looking soap should not be used on your skin, because it was probably never designed for that purpose. Flowers, or other plant material in soap breaks down and causes portions of the soap to become rancid. I’ve seen it first-hand a few times on gift shop shelves.

When I first started making and selling soap, I was told that my soap is not going to sell because of the lack of color and fancy swirls and decorations. I disagreed. I knew people wanted a no fuss natural soap that not only can they use, but more importantly, one that is specifically designed for everyday use. My soap is the product of over two years of research, development, and testing and not the arbitrary sprinkling of rose petals, unnecessary food stuffs, and petrochemical dyes.

Leonardi De Vinci once said, ‘Sophistication is simplicity, and simplicity is sophistication.’

Another said, ‘Less is more.’
